I recently sold my cottage through Paton and Co with Chloe as my point of contact. She was very professional, steering me through the whole process with excellent advice. I deliberately didn’t go with one of the better known agencies as they tend to over promise and under deliver, Chloe got the price absolutely right and I received 2 offers, which I was hoping for, within 3 weeks of it being marketed. If I sell a property again I’d definitely use them.

Paddy exuded professionalism from the start - so glad we took his advice and opted for the drone footage and virtual walk around package - we really think that they were powerful marketing tools and certainly assisted our buyers in their decision to purchase the property. As a result, a sale was swiftly agreed.
With Tamara efficiently managing the task of keeping solicitors focussed, completion of the transaction (date of entry) followed in an agreed timeframe.

Tamara showed us a couple of houses and was always punctual.she kept in contact but was not intrusive. Once we had decided she guided us through the Scottish system , recommended a solicitor who was lovely. There were a few issues along the way but once Tamara got involved they were usually promptly sorted. I would thoroughly recommend Tamara from Paton + co Berwick. So happy with our new house.

Paton & Co were the only agents we considered for marketing our property as they have a proven record in the locale and achieve sales; they were very prompt, professional and achieved a superb price. The feedback at times could have been more proactive, but this was more due to the poor communication coming up the chain from Scottish transactions involved rather than anything attributable to Paddy’s team per se. Overall, would recommend and certainly use again, as the team work and mediate well with both seller and buyer. The team are friendly, approachable and client-oriented and Paddy knows his market. We are very thankful to them for bringing our sale to a successful close.

I can not recommend Paddy and his team highly enough. We sold our house with them and they provided an excellent service. Their knowledge of the market is second to none. They were able to arrange everything from our EPC to conveyor. We were not living in the property at the time, but Paddy and his team were able to assist at every step making the process quick and easy. We wholeheartedly agree with other testimonials about Paton & Co providing a personal and good old-fashioned service which is becoming rather a rarity these days. We were informed about Paton & Co through the owner of a holiday let in the Scottish Borders whilst we were holidaying there.
