Our team has expanded recently and we’re so pleased to introduce two new members of Paton& Co: Property Negotiator Belinda Montgomery and Property Assistant Katie Moore.
After starting a career in London working in sales and marketing for global agencies, Belinda decided to take these skills and apply them to an industry that was in her blood: property. With her father owning JB Fraser’s, the first timber frame company in Scotland, Belinda grew up in a family who were constantly buying, renovating and selling houses. She embarked on a successful career in property development both for herself and professionally for clients, renovating homes up and down the country, and her final property completed in the Scottish Borders was subsequently sold by Paton&Co.
On meeting Belinda as a client, it was clear that her diverse experience and excellent communications skills would be a great asset, and her understanding of the market in the central Borders places Belinda in a prime position when advising clients.
Growing up in rural North Northumberland, Katie has had a love for property from a young age. In her early career, Katie worked at a luxury spa in Northumberland before moving into the country clothing industry, from face-to-face retail, events and photoshoots to online customer service. After relocating to live near Kelso in the Borders, Katie found herself getting hooked by her love for property and interiors all over again, and this motivated her to pursue a career path within the industry. We’re delighted to welcome both Belinda and Katie to our team.
