Longcote House enjoys a central position within the village of Eddleston. Founded circa 1785, Eddleston Village is set where the Eddleston Water meets the Longcote Burn and the Dean Burn. The traditional Horseshoe Inn, central to the village, offers excellent dining and accommodation as a small hotel. The luxurious Cringletie Country House Hotel is also nearby.
