Quothquan is a small village situated just over 4 miles north west of Biggar and 9.6 miles south east of Lanark. This location offers the best of rural living whilst being very close to services, amenities and transport links to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The Biggar and Upper Clydesdale Museum, located on the High Street is a great place to research the rich and varied history of Biggar which dates back to the 12th century.
